Aros is a daily activity program consisting of several units, most of which are located in the same building in Carlshem, but we also have a group based in the Nydala area. The target group has neuropsychiatric disabilities, mental health conditions, and/or co-occurring disorders. Other disabilities as well as varioussubstance use disordersare also present.

Daily activities are intended to contribute to personal development and promote participation in society based on the participant’s needs and circumstances. The activities should include habilitation, opportunities for development, and production-oriented tasks. This is to enable meaningful employment in accordance with current legislation. The overall goal of daily activities is to develop the individual’s independence, create a sense of purpose, and provide opportunities for work.

At Aros Bak and Indoor Activities , participants work on household tasks such as baking, washing dishes, cleaning, and laundry. We deliver snacks based on orders from individuals, organizations, and businesses.

Aros Björken is for participants who need to be in a calmer environment with fewer stimuli and distractions. To meet participants’ individual needs, the number of participants on the premises is smaller than in other Aros units. Participants have the opportunity to rotate between various tasks such as baking, administrative work, cleaning, and textile crafts.

We are now seeking two support assistants for our operations within Aros:

- Aros Bak and Indoor Well-Being: A temporary, full-time position, through January 31, 2027.

- Aros Björken: A permanent, full-time position.

Your Responsibilities

You will plan, organize, support, supervise, and develop tasks and work activities based on each individual’s needs, with the goal of creating a meaningful and stimulating daily life. The work is characterized by flexibility, development, and security.

You will also be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as documentation, record-keeping, and drafting implementation plans. Follow-up and evaluation are a natural part of the work process. Another key aspect of the role is to lead and collaborate with participants to meet the needs of various clients, with a focus on creating favorable conditions for increased independence and participation.

About You

You have strong collaboration skills and a professional demeanor toward participants, family members, and other stakeholders.
