Welcome to Hissjövägen at Haga, a service home according to LSS for users with intellectual disabilities. Here live 8 users who need support in everyday life. We are now looking for a colleague to join our team at Hissjövägen! Your work tasks As a support assistant, you will guide and support people with intellectual and mental disabilities in their everyday lives. You will provide individual, social and practical support to enable and utilize the person's own abilities and thus create the conditions for independence. You work to make the persons involved in their everyday life and have a meaningful leisure and/or employment. Common tasks include supporting users with granted services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, personal care/hygiene, medicine and social activities. The work also includes record keeping, documentation in Treserva and working goal-oriented with individual implementation plans to increase goal achievement. The working hours are day, evening, weekend and daytime. Co-planning may take place between our activities. About you You have a genuine interest in disability care and your way of working is characterized by flexibility, continuity and security. We are looking for you who have a good ability to create and maintain structure and who want to be involved in developing the business. You are committed and have a desire to share our values and to work towards set goals and to work with continuous improvements. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements: Qualified nursery nurse, assistant nurse, social worker or other training deemed equivalent by the employer Experience of working in the field of disability care Experience of planning, implementing, documenting, following up and analyzing interventions in disability care. Meritorious: Experience of working with intellectual disabilities Education or experience in methods such as low-effective treatment, positive behavioral support, clarifying pedagogy Your application To ensure that the people invited to interview are those who best match what we are looking for, we use selection questions.
