Mariehemsvägen is a service home according to LSS with a focus on mental disabilities. The business consists of ten apartments in the immediate area. As a support assistant, you are based in our shared apartment, where there is an office, a day room and the opportunity for joint activities. Individual support is mainly provided in the individual's apartment and through accompaniment to various activities. Your tasks As a support assistant, you offer individual, social and practical support to strengthen each person's own abilities and create the conditions for independence. You work to involve the individual in everyday tasks such as cleaning, laundry and cooking, as well as creating meaningful leisure and employment. The work also involves contact with care providers, administrators and authorities. To create security and stability for the residents, and to deal with situations of threat and violence, it is important to follow routines and work closely together in the team. A central part of the work is to work with documentation and individual implementation plans - to plan, carry out, follow up and evaluate interventions both independently and together with colleagues. You are also expected to contribute to structure in everyday life, which reduces the risk of threats and violence. About you We are looking for you who have education in the health and care program, the children and leisure program or other equivalent education. An education as a social worker or psychologist is an advantage. We would like you to have experience of: working with people with autism and mental illness, disability care, service housing or group housing, low-threshold approach in situations of threat and violence addiction and substance abuse problems. As a person, you are committed, flexible and confident in your approach. You have good organizational skills, want to contribute to the development of the business and share our values of participation and continuous improvement. Please note that heavy lifting and furry animals may be involved in the work. Other information The position is a temporary position, full-time, starting as soon as possible by agreement until 2026-08-31. The work is scheduled day, evening and on-call combination.
