Geografigränd is a service home according to LSS with a focus on intellectual disabilities. The business has a total of eight apartments spread over two houses close to each other. Independent users aged between 30-40 years live here. We are now looking for a support assistant for Geografigränd! Your work tasks You will support people with mental and intellectual disabilities in their everyday life with, among other things, food, cleaning, laundry, personal care and planning of activities. You will provide individual, social and practical support to enable and utilize the person's own abilities and thus create the conditions for independence. You work to make the individual involved in their everyday life and to have a meaningful leisure and/or employment. The work also includes documentation, record keeping and work with implementation plans. We are careful to follow routines, to have a low-effective approach and to collaborate with the entire work group to create security and stability for our residents and avoid situations with threats and violence. The work also includes contact with other care providers, administrators and authorities. The accommodation is part of a larger area of co-planning. There are also smokers in the user group. Working hours are day, evening, weekend and on-call combinations. About you As a person, you are curious, like development and are driven. You follow routines and are good at communicating with both colleagues and manager. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements: - Nursing and care program, child and leisure program or another education that we consider equivalent.
