Verkstadsgatan 12-14 is a newly opened service housing according to LSS with a social psychiatric focus that opened its doors in February 2025.
The business consists of nine apartments spread over two adjacent buildings, where we offer individually adapted support to people with psychiatric and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. Here we work to support people with, for example, autism, ADHD, cognitive difficulties and mental illness, with the aim of promoting participation, independence and a safe everyday life.
We are now looking for you who want to contribute to our continued development and create a meaningful living environment for our users!
Your work tasks
In the role of support assistant, you offer support in everyday life to people with mental and/or intellectual disabilities and work in a way that is characterized by flexibility, continuity and security. Your support is individualized - both socially and practically - and is always based on each person's needs. Through a methodical, long-term and goal-oriented approach, you help to strengthen the user's abilities, participation and influence in everyday life. Together with the users, you create a safe home environment and a meaningful everyday life. You support in practical tasks such as cleaning, cooking, socializing and various leisure activities, and assist with medication management according to current procedures.
Challenging situations such as self-harm, threats and risk of violence may occur in the workplace.
The work tasks also include administrative parts such as planning support measures, documentation, record keeping and drawing up implementation plans. Follow-up and evaluation of the work is a natural part of the activities, as is collaboration with other external actors. The service involves some independent solo work.
From 2026, co-planning will take place with two group homes with an intellectual focus, where physical support such as heavy lifting occurs.
Working hours are day, evening, weekend and daytime.
