Disability care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction. Ostkroken 180 is a new group home according to LSS with a social psychiatric focus that opened in September 2024. We are looking for a safe support assistant to join our team at Ostkroken! Your work tasks As a support assistant, you work to provide people with mainly mental disabilities with support in everyday life. Your goal is to create the conditions for increased independence, participation and a meaningful life. The work involves, among other things: providing individual, social and practical support in everyday life, empowering individuals through a respectful and supportive approach, contributing to the functioning of the user's everyday life, leisure and/or employment, plan, carry out, document, follow up and evaluate interventions, both individually and together with the team. About you Requirements: Qualified nursing assistant or other training deemed equivalent. Experience of working in healthcare. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (for communication, documentation and medication administration). Meritorious: Experience of working with the target group. Knowledge of low-effective treatment in situations of threat and violence. As a person, you are calm and confident, committed and have good self-awareness. You work in a structured and professional manner in collaboration with the team and other networks. We will attach great importance to personal suitability. Interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
