Are you the one? Short-term supervision is an intervention via LSS that is for young people over the age of 12 who are no longer entitled to school leisure time, but who need supervision when their guardians are working or studying.
The intervention can be provided before or after the school day and during holidays. Through individually adapted support, we jointly create a safe environment and a meaningful leisure time. We are now looking for more employees for our short-term supervision activities!
Dragonskolan's short-term supervision is located in the west of the city and currently consists of three departments. Two departments are located inside Dragonskolan and the third department, which is also our largest, is located in independent premises on Kvarnvägen. The activities include young people aged 16-21 years.
Carlslunds korttidstillsyn is located inside Carlslundsskolan in the Carlslund area, near Tomtebo and Carlshöjd. We are a large organization with three departments for ages 13-16.
Your work tasks
As an employee in the short-term supervision activities, you work to support and help young people based on their individual needs. The tasks vary and can include both social and physical support, depending on each young person's situation. You will prepare for young people's arrival, plan and implement meaningful activities and help create a safe and stimulating environment.
The role also includes daily administrative tasks. The work is physically demanding as you will be on the move a lot, and some moving and lifting may be involved, although heavy lifting is not a central part. You will also need to be prepared to deal with extrovert behavior and situations where threats and violence may occur.

We are looking for someone who is calm, confident and committed - with their heart in the right place. You have good collaboration skills, a professional approach and enjoy working closely with colleagues, users and relatives. You are aware that it takes time to build relationships and use creativity and playfulness in your approach. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Nursing and care program, child and leisure program, social worker or other education that the employer considers equivalent
Experience of working with people with disabilities
Merits:
Experience of working with children and young people with physical and intellectual disabilities
Experience of flame-effective treatment in the event of acting-out behavior / threats and violence situations
Experience of working with visual aids (TAKK)

Other information
Carlslundsskolan: One (1) position temporary, part-time 75%, starting 2025-12-01 until 2026-06-01. The working hours are mainly on weekday afternoons with end time at 17:15.
Dragonskolan: Three (3) permanent positions, part-time 75%, starting as soon as possible by agreement. The possibility of full-time may be offered through co-planning with other activities, which takes place by agreement. Working hours are mainly on weekday afternoons, weekend work may be included.
Co-planning occurs between short-term supervision activities and other activities within Support and Care.
