Your work assignments The support teacher's main task is to be a role model, teach, impart knowledge, develop and spread pedagogical methods in the business. This is done by participating in various networks, attending meetings, paying attention to the need for competence development as well as recurring follow-ups and evaluations of treatment, attitudes, efforts and work methods. In the role, you will work actively with the social documentation and act as a documentation agent where you guide, quality-assure and support other staff to compile documentation in the computer system. You will also work with pedagogical methods, communication and introduction of new employees. Based on the needs of the business, also monitor developments in the environment regarding disabilities and support for users. Part of your work will involve working as a personal assistant in our staff pool. This means that you are trained by a few different users and work during short-term absences. We offer you a developing and changing role with a high degree of influence when it comes to the educational work. The working hours are mainly arranged during the day, weekdays and weekends. If the assignment requires, working hours may be shifted to the evening About you We are looking for a positive and committed person who has training as a support pedagogue, at least 200 yh points, 120 university credits or the combination in between, which corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. It will be varied work where we see that you enjoy taking your own initiative based on the needs you see in the business. You like to work both independently and in collaboration with others and in close dialogue with the business. As the role includes a large amount of documentation, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and are a familiar computer user. It is advantageous for the position if you have knowledge and experience of working within LSS with people with intellectual disabilities, mental disabilities, neuropsychiatric diagnoses and mental illness, as well as working with people with challenging behaviour. If you have experience of working with low-affective treatment, clarifying pedagogy, we also see that as meritorious. B driving license is desirable.
