Östtegs skola was built in 1887 and is one of Umeå's oldest schools. The school is beautifully situated by the Ume River, a stone's throw from the city center. We have a large proportion of qualified teachers with solid experience. Östtegs skolan is one of Umeå municipality's training schools, which means that during the academic year we receive student teachers on their practical training, VFU. We are now looking for a confident teacher for our preschool class and after-school program! Employment information The position is for a temporary position, full time, 2025-11-03 until 2025-12-31, with the possibility of extension. Your tasks You will teach in the preschool class. As a teacher, you should be able to arouse curiosity in pupils and stimulate them to learn. You will also recognize the fundamental value of treating all pupils with respect and warmth. Working closely with teams and colleagues, you will be responsible for driving and developing the pedagogical work with the curriculum and municipal goals as a benchmark. Contact and cooperation with parents is an important part of the work, and we attach great importance to personal qualities.
