During the trial day, you will be paid for the hours you work. In Disability Care, you will work with people who have mental, physical and intellectual disabilities. Your job is to strengthen the individual's ability to live as independent a life as possible. Your support will help create good conditions for functional housing, employment, health and leisure. You can work in LSS accommodation, short-term accommodation, daily activities, housing support or in personal assistance for children, young people and adults. The most important thing for us is that you have a high work ethic, a positive attitude, are responsive and respect both users and colleagues. The job requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to, among other things, be able to communicate with users, document care interventions and obtain medication authorization. You need to be 18 years old. Umeå municipality is part of the administrative area for Sami, Finnish and Meänkieli, so it is an advantage if you have knowledge of one or more of these languages. If you are selected for a trial day, we will contact you and you will be given more information about the organization of the day. The period in which the trial day can be done extends between weeks 47-51. Day and time are booked in consultation between the person who will try out and the organization. The work shift can be scheduled during the day or evening. You do not commit to any further work, but if you are interested in continuing to work with us after the trial day and we assess that it is possible, we will help you in the process of getting an extra job, a summer job or a permanent position. Salary for the trial day Salary is paid at a flat rate for this day. 18 years 128 kr/h 19 years and over SEK 136/h Individual salary setting based on experience and merits will be relevant in the event of continued employment.
