The Employment and Integration Department of Umeå Municipality is responsible for labor market issues and integration. The department facilitates change, development and increased health through the right intervention, in the right way at the right time. Every year, Umeå municipality offers young people who have completed their first year of upper secondary school holiday jobs. The young people work six hours a day for a three-week period. The young people can choose between three different periods. The holiday jobs are available in municipal activities and non-profit organizations. Holiday jobs involve working under supervision, which means that an adult must be present to help and supervise the young people. We are now looking for you to supervise this work! Your tasks We are looking for you who enjoy working outdoors where you will supervise a group of young people born in 2009 in park work. The work involves, for example, the maintenance of municipal bathing areas, sports parks and parks. You will be responsible for the supervision of about 4-5 young people - and you will actively participate in the work while supervising the young people. The work involves both heavy lifting and repetitive work. About you You have at least upper secondary education and experience of working with young people in some form. It is highly meritorious if you have experience of working with young people with NPF. We would like to see that you are currently studying at university with the focus on pedagogy, social work, social sciences or behavioral sciences You are professional, flexible and responsible. You have a good ability to structure and plan your work. You are a person with a high sense of service and good interpersonal skills. You are a team player - but the job requires you to be able to work independently and take your own initiative. It is important that you can set boundaries and act as an adult in your relationship with young people. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability as it is both expected and required of you that you are a good role model. We require a B driving license and a valid extract from the criminal record as the work involves working with children.
