Work tasks As a unit manager with us, you are responsible for operations, accommodation, staff and finances. Your main task is to ensure that we run high-quality operations where our employees provide the best support to our residents. The tasks of a unit manager include working with: Providing staff with guidance and feedback to enable nursing care to develop Communicating values, encouraging dialog and cooperation Systematic work environment management Rehabilitation and adaptation Implementation of new ways of working, such as the introduction of new digital technologies Workforce planning, staffing and recruitment Of course, there are times when the head of unit assignment is challenging, and as support in the work you have, among other things, your head of unit colleagues, you are part of a team where you have a dialogue and collaborate on common issues. You will report to deputy heads of unit who will follow up and support you in your assignment. There are also support functions in administration, finance and HR. Who are you? We are looking for people who have the ability to stimulate and motivate employees in their daily work. By utilizing resources where they are needed most, you will ensure that we can make a difference for those we serve. You are confident and courageous and have a good ability to lead and communicate in change. We are looking for you who have a university degree, perhaps as a social worker or you have other higher education that provides knowledge in relevant legislation, behavioral science and the field of leadership. In addition to a university degree, we see it as positive if you have some form of managerial or leadership training or have completed an internal trainee program for future leaders. You have previous experience as a manager. We consider it positive if you have experience in elderly care, especially from nursing and care homes. The position requires unrestricted knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
