Unit Managers, summer temporary, for Elderly and Disability Care Type of Employment Full-time
Job position Housing manager, municipality
Work model On location
Application due date 31 January 2026
Are you the one? Unit Managers, summer substitutes, for elderly and disability care
We are now looking for unit managers who want to work as a substitute for our regular unit managers during the summer of 2026.
We are looking for unit managers for our elderly care (nursing homes, ordinary housing / home care) and disability care. Are you interested in an exciting and challenging assignment where you make a difference for others? Welcome with your application!
About our activities
Elderly care services offer services and care to those who need support in daily life due to illness, disability and age. This can include, for example, social alarms, help in their own homes (ordinary housing/home care) or living in one of our care homes for the elderly.
Disability services provide support and services to adults and/or children to enable them to live as independent a life as possible, as well as activities that provide services to children and young people, such as short-term accommodation for children. Users are granted support under the Social Services Act with housing support/home care, special housing or personal assistance under LSS.

Safe introduction
We know that it's not always easy to be new at work, which is why we do our very best to make you feel as prepared as possible for your summer job with us. You will receive an introduction that includes, for example, training in systems and working methods, as well as a workplace introduction where you will work alongside one of our regular unit managers for a period of time.
Your tasks
As a unit manager during the summer, you will be responsible for one or more homes/areas within one of our operations; care homes, ordinary housing (home care) or disability care.
You are responsible for ensuring that our care recipients/residents receive good care, that the activities maintain high quality and the employees' work environment. You will lead the care staff in their daily work and plan the activities based on the needs of the care recipients/residents. Some focus will also be on staffing issues and recruitment, as well as contact with internal and external actors in the vicinity of the care recipients/residents.
About you
We are looking for you who have completed, or started, higher education, perhaps in behavioral, social or health sciences. We consider it positive if you have previous experience of working in elderly care or disability care. It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a manager.
As a person, you are a good organizer, structured and responsible. As a unit manager, you will have to deal with and resolve situations that arise suddenly. It is therefore important that you are solution-focused, have a good ability to prioritize and can take your own initiative.
Welcome with your application!
Other positions
A total of about 25 places, 15 places in elderly care and 10 places in disability care. Temporary work from 1/6 (or as agreed), at the latest until 31/8. We are primarily looking for those who are interested in working the entire period.
Interviews and filling are ongoing so send in your application today!
Before an offer of employment, we ask you to present an extract from the police's criminal record. This is done as a final step in the recruitment process.
