The elderly care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in close proximity and interaction.

The nursing home Aktrisen is located in the scenic sculpture park in the Umedals area in Umeå. The house is tastefully renovated where we have retained the beautiful architecture with its high ceilings and deep windows combined with modern materials and standards. We are a home for people with dementia and we have 48 apartments spread over three floors.

We offer a pleasant working environment where you get the opportunity to make a difference in our residents' everyday lives. You will be an important part of our team and contribute to creating a safe and caring environment.

We are now looking forward to welcoming more colleagues full-time and part-time!

Your duties

With a professional approach and good treatment, you assist our residents in their everyday lives. The resident's co-determination is in focus and you help to ensure that efforts are carried out, with good quality, according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

You will assist with, among other things, showering, laundry, cleaning, meals and other services. The tasks also include documentation of measures and health status as well as medical tasks based on delegation by the responsible nurse.

About you

We are looking for you who have previous experience of nursing work. We would like to see that you are a trained nurse or care assistant but this is not a requirement. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Your meeting with residents requires good professional competence based on maturity, responsibility and a well-developed empathic ability. You show a strong commitment to both users and the organization, which is evident in your relationships and your actions. You work independently and show patience and initiative in different situations. You also have a very good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
