About the role

We are looking for a Turbine Area Manager for the instrument maintenance group at Forsmark Power Group.
About the job
The work mainly consists of proactively working with plant optimization in your area of turbine systems where analog technology is mixed with digital. The role also includes having a technical function within UMK/projects within NMK's area of responsibility.

To succeed in the role, you should have a genuine interest in technology and like to learn new things. You need to have good analytical skills to be able to analyze and evaluate maintenance actions and participate in troubleshooting efforts. You will have good interpersonal and relationship skills and be able to work well with other people. As the work often takes place on commissioned equipment, it is important that you are meticulous, quality conscious and able to stay focused while working. You should also have experience or interest in documenting your work well, including drawing up instructions, reports and test programs.

We offer a varied and fun job where you work both independently and together with other colleagues from the Maintenance, Production and Technology departments. As we often work on commissioned equipment, it will give you a good understanding of the process but it requires you to be focused and quality conscious.
We are a relatively new group which gives you the opportunity to be involved from the start in shaping the way we work. We will focus more on planning, analysis and documentation, which is crucial to ensure that our processes and systems work optimally.
Buses to and from Forsmark are adapted to the working hours of daytime staff. We also offer work buses with wireless network on the Gävle-Forsmark and Uppsala-Forsmark routes, which gives you the opportunity to use travel time as working time if/when work allows. You also have the opportunity to use our remote workplaces in Gävle and Uppsala or work from home if/when work allows.
