We are looking for an operational leader who is passionate about communication, driven by the business and easy to translate strategy into concrete plans and activation. Vattenfall Electricity Distribution is in the middle of the energy transition, and the communication function has a central role - not only in telling what we do, but also why it matters. Storytelling is an important tool for you and your team in this work. The energy transition requires understanding, trust and meaning - and that's where you come in.
As Business and Corporate Communications Manager, you have the operational responsibility to plan, coordinate and execute a communications plan that not only aligns with our business but also strengthens it. With the support of your team as well as the Director of Communications, you will ensure a powerful and coherent communication across customer and marketing communications, digital channels, advertising, own channels, content marketing and internal communications. Your mission will be to drive a business-oriented communication agenda in close dialogue with the business. Your team consists of nine direct reports.
The Business & Corporate Communications Unit is one of two departments in the Communications Unit. The second department is tasked with driving the operational and tactical communication agenda for stakeholder & project communication, including media. You will report to the Director of Communications and be part of the Communications Unit Management Team.

Furthermore, you have a structured and analytical mindset, combined with an operational drive. You should love to initiate internal collaborations, develop plans, plan for the year and then also be involved in the development and follow-up of the efforts made.
As a person, you are positive, solution-oriented and unpretentious. You thrive in a changing environment and drive development with a proactive and businesslike approach. You see communication as a crucial force in strengthening the business and contributing to Vattenfall's overall goals.
