We are now looking for commissioning managers for Vattenfall Vattenkraft!
As a commissioning manager, you have a key role in hydropower's major investment projects. You are responsible for planning and carrying out commissioning, mainly linked to hydropower units, but also to components such as spillways, transformers and local power.
The work includes preparations such as collection of documentation, site visits and program writing. The actual commissioning usually lasts for a couple of weeks and ends with reporting.
In addition to this, you work continuously with functional requirements, selective plans, fault current calculations and relay protection settings. The scope varies depending on the project phases and current commissioning. You will be part of a competent team of operating engineers who together contribute to the safe and efficient development of our hydropower.
Requirement specification
We are looking for you who have an electrical power engineering education and solid experience of operational work with commissioning. It is an advantage if you have worked in electricity and hydropower production, especially with operation and maintenance, control facilities, protection functions and testing.
You work in a structured and methodical way with a strong safety mindset. Your leadership skills allow you to take initiative and make decisions together with the team on site. Even under pressure, you remain calm, are solution-oriented and ensure that the work is of high quality and follows a clear systematic approach.
Since the work involves many contact surfaces, good teamwork skills and clear communication are important qualities. You have a B-driving license, travel in the service will be included.

Umeå, Storuman, Östersund, Sollefteå, Sundsvall, Älvkarleby or Trollhättan, other locations can be discussed.
