Have you worked as a Service Technician in electrical telecommunications or communications and want to develop your technical knowledge? Now we are looking for Communication Engineers for Vattenfall Services' Business Area Technology!

The technical departments currently employ about 170 engineers with specialist expertise in communications, control equipment, optical fiber and more. With us, safety is always in focus as we work in potentially dangerous environments and at high altitudes through mast and pole climbing. We offer you a free and responsible job. Examples of tasks as a Communication Engineer:

• Work with preventive maintenance of communication equipment
• Fault repair of communication equipment
• Rebuilding and new construction of communication solutions
• Ensure the implementation of new ongoing communication projects from start to finish
• Be involved in the design, purchase of materials, implementation, installation and commissioning
• Manage supplier and contractor contacts

Travel is a natural part of the work, travel with overnight stays occurs. The work is carried out to about 75% in the field, in the customers' facilities.

Requirements specification

About you

Our way of working is characterized by freedom under responsibility and as a person you are therefore driven by taking on challenges, solving problems and achieving set goals. Since you will have contact with both internal and external contacts, we are looking for you who are service-oriented and enjoy working both on your own and in close collaboration with colleagues.

In addition to your personal qualities, we would like to see that you already have:

• An education in telecommunications, electricity or electrical power, or equivalent practical experience
• Some years of experience working in telecommunications or electrical power, or specialist skills
• Experience in leading projects or own work in the industry independently
• Experience with technologies such as SDH/PDH, optical fiber, radio, IEC61850, IP networks and experience in remote control and control equipment is meritorious
• Industry experience is meritorious

In addition to the above competencies, you have easy to express yourself in both Swedish and English in writing and speech. Driving license B is a requirement. Height work via mast and pole climbing occurs.
