Then you might be the Content Manager we are looking for!

As Content Manager, you belong to Media Relations Sweden and are responsible for strengthening Vattenfall's brand and creating understanding of Vattenfall's strategy through planned and well-executed communication in traditional media, our own internal channels, and in the external newsroom. Media Relations produces many texts, such as web texts, copy for social channels, press releases, the newsletter "The Edit" and internal news. Other roles in Media Relations are also responsible for the traditional work of crisis communication, web communication and press service.

The role of Content Manager.

The role of Content Manager is broad and requires both strategic and operational skills. As a Content Manager, you work independently and are responsible for the work from start to finish. You will write and publish articles, press releases, news texts, web texts, contribute to Vattenfall's successful external newsletters and other copy. For example, you will write articles for the annual report and easily communicate dry financial texts in an engaging way. You are expected to find new opportunities to reach out to the right channels and analyze the results of implemented communication activities. You are used to working with traditional news texts as well as sharp copy for social channels and the web. You are good at writing in both Swedish and English and have an eye for detail.

As Content Manager you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Proactive and strategic responsibility for long-term communication of different topics/areas
  • Active finding and developing new communication opportunities internally and externally
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of communication in Vattenfall's own channels, internal and external
  • Develop articles, press releases, scripts for films and other types of content in collaboration with colleagues
  • Target and publish content for different channels, including social media, intranet and newsrooms and have knowledge of relevant tools and methods, including SEO
  • Ensure that messages in own channels are in line with Vattenfall's strategy and positions.
  • Manage and ensure high quality content
  • Advise internal stakeholders on the best way to communicate topics
  • Analysis and communication reporting


Requirements

You have:

  • A university degree in communication, journalism, marketing or equivalent.
  • Documented work experience in PR, copy, journalism or similar.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, excellent writing and editing skills in both languages.
  • You have good knowledge of digital tools and you know how to SEO-optimize texts.
  • You have the ability to see the big picture, and have a solid knowledge of the communication landscape.

It is meritorious if you have experience of working with content and news communication for a large organization or running a campaign or project that made a difference or stood out. We also see it meritorious if you have previously included AI in your work.

As a person, you have a stronginterest in climate and energy issues and follow societal and political debates and understand how communication can influence and create commercial opportunities for Vattenfall.

  • You are a true team player who enjoys working with others and creating collaborations both internally and externally, while being used to working independently and taking responsibility.
  • You are results-oriented and forward-thinking with a humble appearance.
  • You are accurate and analytical with the ability to evaluate the outcome of implemented communication activities.
