Your role as a Control Plant Engineer

As a Control Plant Engineer, you belong to a larger group of engineers spread across Sweden. You will work on customers' electrical power stations with the following examples as tasks:

  • Maintenance testing of relay protection
  • Commissioning, configuration and testing of control systems
  • Troubleshooting and relay conversions
  • Work with remote controls and other station equipment.
  • Minor design adjustments in connection with commissioning.

You will belong to the business area Technology where we have about 170 engineers spread throughout the country, which gives access to a very large competence base. We work actively with internal training to broaden and deepen the skills of our employees. With us, you get the opportunity to work with all existing control equipment, at all voltage levels, from 0.4kV to 400kV.

Travel in the service with overnight stays occurs as a natural part of the work.

Requirements specification

We know that you will develop with us. But to succeed in the role, you must already have:

  • A post-secondary electrical power education or equivalent work experience in electrical power
  • Knowledge of electrical power plants
  • Knowledge of relay protection and relay protection configuration
  • Good computer skills
  • B driving license
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

We see it as a merit if you have:

  • Worked with control facilities within 130-400 kV
  • Experience of similar tasks
  • Good knowledge of English

As a person, you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills with both internal and external contacts. To succeed in the role, you also need to be able to plan and prioritize your work tasks independently.
