We are now looking for a control engineer, mechanical quality engineer for Forsmarks Kraftgrupp!

You will be part of the Mechanical Design group where we are currently about 20 colleagues. We have an important role in maintaining, improving safety and modernizing Forsmark's production facilities.

With several exciting assignments on the horizon and long-term plans, we are now looking for you who have experience in quality work and practical application of control elements. We offer you a key role where your input and experience make a difference so that together we can ensure the right requirements picture and then requirements fulfillment.

Examples of your tasks:

  • Develop control plans for manufacturing and installation in the mechanical field, with a focus on quality and traceability
  • Ensure that all relevant requirements - both internal guidelines and external regulations - are considered and integrated in the inspection preparation
  • Collect and compile documentation related to the inspection plan and package these into a complete assembly document
  • Support the design activities by participating in various forums and contributing with technical expertise and quality perspective.

Requirements

Are you structured, committed and like to solve problems? Then this could be the role for you! We are looking for you who want to take on a responsible job where your ability to create structure and think analytically makes a difference. You are used to working systematically and have an eye for detail - especially when it comes to documentation. You have experience working with modern and structured documentation, and you understand the value of clear and traceable information at every stage.

Your analytical skills enable you to process and explain complex information in a way that others understand and appreciate. You are solution-oriented and inspire both yourself and colleagues - even when challenges arise. You are used to adapting to different circumstances, while maintaining focus and accuracy. The work involves many contact surfaces and it is important that you are responsive, communicative and enjoy collaborating across departmental boundaries.

You have:

  • Post-secondary education in, for example, technology, quality, production development, measurement, mechanics, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience in preparation and quality work in the mechanical field
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken and written)
  • Very good IT experience.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge of, experience of:

  • Mechanical design
  • Regulations, regulations and standards such as SSMFS, AFS, ASME, PED
  • Nuclear power and/or process industry
  • Inspection and testing of mechanical equipment
  • Welding technology.
