About the role

To meet the requirements and needs of the electricity network, the Network Connections unit is tasked with handling new connections, connection changes, connection remodeling and connection of production to the local network at the customer's request. The unit consists of five departments and we are now looking for several committed employees for one of them, the one responsible for large connections in the fuse range 315-1500 A, as well as responsible for all connections on the medium voltage network where some form of design and construction is needed to connect the customer. Our responsibility is the entire process from customer request to completion for our larger connections / corporate customers.

Why should you work with us?

With us, you get more than a job - you become part of something bigger.

We encourage learning in everyday life and believe in a work-life balance - to make you feel good and be able to contribute long-term.

  • The opportunity to influence our ways of working and contribute to the development of our unit
  • Variation in everyday life - every connection is unique
  • A culture where we encourage learning, balance and long-term development

Duties

The position suits you who like to handle challenges at the intersection of technology, customer and society. Right now, we are seeing strong growth in renewable energy, charging infrastructure and energy storage, as well as the establishment of new industries and strong growth in metropolitan areas. All this requires that the electricity network is also developed, and the customer's first meeting with the electricity network company takes place in the connection case. As an Energy Engineer/Connection Engineer with us, you will therefore play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for the customer and that we are perceived as an enabler of sustainable development in society. In the role you will:

  • Act as the customer's natural contact throughout the connection case, where you also have continuous contact with installers and contractors
  • Responsible for proactively keeping the customer updated with the right information about the status of the case
  • Plan and design connection and conversion cases to our low or high voltage network to find the best and most efficient solutions
  • Perform electricity network calculations and prepare customer quotes, project descriptions and calculations
  • Order the execution of the contractor, review preparations, follow up and report project finances.
  • Work independently but in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders for your connection cases.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of internal processes and procedures

In our industry, we have the privilege to be part of the journey as the energy industry changes, which requires us to adapt and constantly broaden our skills. We need to be active in understanding the demands and expectations on us and see the consequences for us as an electricity network company when it comes to "new technology", new regulations and the like. In this role there is great opportunity for personal and professional development.

Requirement specification

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have a strong drive and a genuine commitment to what you do. Customer focus is a matter of course for you - you thrive on finding solutions that make a difference and you always strive to provide the best possible service and preferably exceed expectations.

In the dialogue with customers, you are communicative, solution-oriented and sometimes extra clear when needed. You have a natural sense of structure and project management, and you drive the work forward in a trustworthy way. Your willingness to learn, develop and contribute to the success of both the team and the business is something we value highly. We are not looking for someone who already knows everything - but you who are curious, learning and want to grow with us.

  • Experience from a customer-oriented role in the electric power industry or background as a consultant, technical salesperson or project manager
  • If you lack experience from the electric power industry, we would like you to have a university or civil engineering education, alternatively a YH education with a focus on electrical power
  • Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English
  • Strongly meritorious if you have previously worked as a connection engineer
