Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and approx. 300 dams in the Nordic region. The department is responsible for maintaining the company's dam safety in accordance with policy and national laws. We strive for world-class dam safety. The department is faced with a gathering of forces in order to accelerate our work in the near future to increase the technical safety of dust at our facilities.
The position is part of the Swedish organization together with the entire team, which has great competence in the dam engineering area. Freely varied work with great opportunities to set up your own planning. Make things happen, collaborate with several parts of the organization and with many different people. In your role as dam safety coordinator, you will work together to implement dam safety-enhancing measures, mainly at the facilities along the Ume river and Skellefte river.
Examples of tasks include;
• Coordinate and plan implementation of maintenance activities, such as inspection, monitoring and verification checks.
• Carry out annual inspections as well as continuous measurement evaluation using available measurement systems
• Project lead planned dam maintenance measures.
• Participate in in-depth inspections, condition control, maintenance and projects.
• Ongoing handling of questions regarding dam safety and reporting to a dam technical expert if necessary.
• Apply the risk management process for dams

We see that you have professional experience in the field of work and also have data analytical skills. You are mobile as the service involves frequent visits to the facilities along the Ume River and the Skellefte River, which requires you to have access to a B driver's license.

At the same time, you have the ability to go out yourself and carry out practical inspections and be able to see and assess the condition of the facilities.
