Vattenfall Services' goal is to be the leading and safest player in the industry. In this role, you will have a strong focus on continuing to develop our business and staff. Right now, the department is in a very exciting phase as we start up a new service agreement.

In the role of Department Manager, you will be responsible for a department where we are currently just over 20 employees (distribution electricians, preparers, project support, project and maintenance managers) based in Sundsvall.

We work mainly with maintenance services and contract customers in electricity networks. The focus is on fault rectification with staff on standby, maintenance measures and projects within local networks.

We offer a challenging leadership assignment in a business with great development potential. The role involves financial, strategic and operational responsibility for the entire department's operations where safety is the top priority!

Examples of responsibilities and tasks:

  • Finance; forecast, budget, performance and business follow-up and analysis of the business
  • Personnel and resource planning, keeping you and the department updated on services and safe working methods and working for further development and follow-up of methods and our delivery
  • Customer contacts and development of existing and new business
  • Be involved in procurement, tender and contract management.

The department is part of the Wiring South North business area. You will report to the Business Area Manager and be part of his management team. There are good opportunities to contribute to the continued growth and development of the entire business area.



Requirements


We are looking for you who have:

  • Management experience preferably from the construction industry or the electrical industry
  • Technical or economic education or work experience that corresponds to this
  • Good financial understanding preferably from projects
  • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
  • B-driving license

It is meritorious if you in addition to this have experience of working with customer and supplier relations, multi-year service agreements and performance and business follow-up.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities where you have a strong self-drive and courage, you are businesslike and make things happen by collaborating and engaging your employees.

As a leader, you are responsive, persistent and motivating. Your interest and qualities support the development of operations, people and business. You have good communication skills and are clear.
