About the role

Do you have experience and expertise in electric power and power system analysis and want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply? At Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant, you will have the opportunity to take on one of the most important challenges of our time - to shape the energy sector of the future. The Power Analysis group consists of a total of 13 people and constitutes Ringhals' cutting-edge competence in electric power analysis. The group's main tasks are to perform various types of static and dynamic calculations and to manage and develop analysis tools and simulation models for the purpose. The group has technical responsibility for overall impact on plant design. In case of modifications and modernizations of the electric power systems, it is our task to monitor and maintain the design, safety and robustness of the plants.

The team consists of both experienced specialists and newly graduated engineers.

  • Participate in technical investigations, fault analyses and assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering departments, operations and maintenance.
  • Have contact with external actors such as Svenska kraftnät and industry organizations.

  • Requirements

    We are looking for you who:

    • have experience working with electric power and power system analysis, preferably in some form of power generation.
    • have relevant university or civil engineering education in, for example, electric power, technical physics or energy - or equivalent competence acquired through work experience.
    • communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

    You are a committed and curious person who takes on challenges with drive and responsibility. In the role, you work closely with colleagues from different parts of the business and see the value of collaborating to achieve common goals.
