About the role


Do you want to help shape the future of electrical safety work at one of Sweden's most important workplaces? The Environment and Work Environment unit at Forsmark Power Group is now looking for a driven and structured electrical safety engineer who wants to make a real difference in a complex and socially important business.

We are responsible for electrical safety, work environment, environment, hazardous transport, personal protective equipment and human performance. The unit acts as a cohesive and supportive hub in these areas - and we are looking for you who want to help further strengthen our role.


About the job

In the role of electrical safety engineer, you will have a broad and varied assignment. You are alone in your role but work closely with both managers and employees in the daily work. Above all, you will work closely with the maintenance department with a focus on developing, following up and coordinating electrical safety work throughout the organization.


Examples of work tasks

  • Support the organization in electrical safety issues
  • Interpretation and implementation of laws, new requirements and regulations and be the contact person for requirements interpretation in electrical safety
  • Implement, review and update instructions and reports
  • Be involved in various forums regarding electrical safety
  • Be out in the plant to follow work so that it is done safely, make investigations and risk assessments and analyzes
  • Responsible for training materials and be able to hold training courses
  • Contact with the Electrical Safety Authority and internal and external functions



Requirements specification


We are looking for you who have

  • High school or civil engineering education, specializing in electricity/electric power
  • Work experience of electrical power work for at least 5 years
  • Fluent Swedish to be able to interpret and convey laws and requirements and write reports and instructions. Good knowledge of English
  • Good computer skills and experience in Office packages

It is meritorious if you have experience of work management, practical and engineering electrical power work, nuclear power and / or the process industry.

We are looking for you who are structured, communicative and have a strong personal drive where you set your own goals and identify development areas. You have an analytical ability and can interpret laws, regulations and external changes to translate them into practical work. At the same time, you enjoy working in collaboration with several contact areas and have the ability to communicate electrical safety work in a clear and constructive way to develop the work area together with others.
