We are now looking for an engineer in relay protection testing who wants to be part of our team in Stockholm and the surrounding area. Here you get a varied job, great freedom in your role and the opportunity to grow both technically and personally.

What does the role involve?

You will be part of the Business Area Technology - a competence-driven part of Vattenfall Services with about 170 engineers spread throughout the country. We offer a wide exchange of skills, internal training and development opportunities.

Your main tasks are:

  • Maintenance testing of relay protection
  • Commissioning, configuration and testing of control facilities
  • Troubleshooting and relay conversions

We work with equipment from 0.4 kV up to 400 kV and depending on where you are today, you will have good opportunities to develop both practically and technically.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are curious, solution-oriented and driven by the possibilities of technology. As a person, you enjoy solving problems and have the ability to see the big picture. Whether you have many years of experience or are at the beginning of your career, you are warmly welcome to apply for the position - the most important thing is that you have the desire to learn, contribute and develop together with us.

We would like to see that you already have:

  • Post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent work experience
  • Basic knowledge of relay protection
  • Good computer skills
  • B driving license is a requirement
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English

We see it as a merit if you have:

  • Experience of work in electrical power and schedule reading
  • Experience of relay protection configuration
  • Worked with control installations within 130-400 kV

Travel in the service is included as a natural part of your work, usually during the day but overnight trips occur to a lesser extent.
