About the role

Do you want to work with technology in a socially important business - and at the same time contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?

We are now looking for an Engineer/Technician at Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant who wants to be involved in ensuring the operation of some of Sweden's most important technical systems. In this role, you will work both practically and in a coordinating capacity with the maintenance and development of the plant's reactor-related systems - with a particular focus on steam generators.

You will be part of a dedicated team that works with planning, implementation and improvement of technical maintenance. This is a role for those who like to combine engineering, problem solving and collaboration - and who want to develop in an environment where safety and quality are always at the center.

About us

The Primary System Service, Fuel and Testing group is an operational maintenance group that plans and executes maintenance activities in the mentioned areas. The group has execution responsibility for preventive and corrective maintenance. The responsibility also includes the tools, equipment and workshops required to operate and develop the business

As an engineer/technician specializing in Steam Generators, you are an important part of maintaining the plant to obtain the required operational reliability, by actively planning and implementing the maintenance measures required in a good way. New ways of working and routines are being formed, which provides the opportunity to help create the future of primary system service.

Examples of duties:

  • Plan, perform and be responsible for the maintenance and testing of plant steam generators and transportation within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Prepare the team's planned work, which involves instruction updates, documented risk assessments and the use of error prevention methods.
  • Implement planned activities within the business, acting as a coordinator for the team's assignments, as well as the manufacture and service of tools and equipment.

Requirements

About you

We are looking for you who

  • have a full secondary education preferably with a technical focus.
  • have previous experience of mechanical maintenance work, preferably in the process industry.
  • have a B driving license, C card is meritorious.
  • have very good knowledge of Swedish speech and writing and master English.

The service includes an increased workload during the audit periods, which requires endurance, flexibility and work within short time frames. The position also requires some shift work during these periods.
