Do you want to help shape the future of hydropower? Are you a person who likes to improve, simplify and collaborate? Vattenfall Vattenkraft is looking for a solution-oriented and experienced electrical designer (technology specialist) with an interest in smart system support and modern working methods.
You will be part of the Power Station Technology department where we work together for sustainable development and long-term management of Vattenfall's hydropower stations. Today, we are about 20 employees with broad expertise in electricity generation, hydropower and power station technology - we look forward to welcoming you to our team!
Examples of your tasks and responsibilities:
You will collaborate with colleagues, consultants, contractors and suppliers both inside and outside the organization. The work is varied and gives you the opportunity to influence how we develop and maintain our facilities at a time when hydropower plays a crucial role in Sweden's energy mix. You will travel in the service and be met by magnificent hydropower facilities and knowledgeable colleagues around the country.
Requirement specification
You are a self-driven person with the ability to see the big picture. You have a keen interest in the CAD tools available on the market and their advantages and disadvantages. You see value in the existence of governing documents and standardized working methods, and have probably also worked with issues in that particular area.
You have experience of electrical design for automation systems in a CAD-based environment. You are used to working with, for example, ELPROCAD, e-plan and/or elMaster. It is an advantage if you have worked with CAD for large-scale, industrial electrical installations and also had roles that involved coordination and training of others. We would like you to have experience in the energy industry and hydropower.
You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience acquired in another way. Your way of working is characterized by commitment, initiative, cooperation, order and orderliness. You express yourself clearly in speech and writing (Swedish and English) and have a versatile and good IT habit. A B driving license is a requirement as travel by car is part of the work.
Location
The position is located in Jokkmokk, Luleå, Sundsvall, Östersund or Solna, but other locations where we are established can also work.
