About the role

We are now looking for two Facility Management Supervisors within Hard Services for the North and South regions to join our Real Estate and Facility Management organization!

Real Estate and Facility Management is a Shared Service organization responsible for Vattenfall Nordic's leased and owned office properties, as well as all services needed for the properties and office environments to function well. This means responsibility for leases, external and internal service and maintenance of the properties, as well as office services covering security, access, cleaning, office supplies, coffee and fruit, mail handling, document archives, switchboard, furniture and interior design.

As Facility Management Supervisor for Hard Services, you are responsible for the daily property and service operations in technical management and property maintenance of our facilities and offices through active leadership. You drive improvements for all establishments for assigned properties and are responsible for the operation and follow-up of OPI / KPI and operating budget.

You work operationally with our suppliers and your duties include:

  • Management and follow-up of the business with suppliers for facility management including case management and operational meetings.
  • Correction of deficiencies in delivery.
  • Participate in and propose and evaluate operational improvements.
  • Work for consensus between suppliers and our organization.
  • Active work with work environment issues within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all regulatory requirements are complied with within the area of responsibility.
  • Responsibility for the creation and follow-up of operating budgets for technical management and maintenance.
  • Invoice management.


Requirement specification

We are looking for you who have:

  • Post-secondary education in real estate technology or the equivalent in energy and / or building technology.
  • Several years of experience in a similar role in the operation and technical management of commercial or residential properties.
  • Good knowledge of building services systems such as electricity, HVAC, ventilation, control, fire and passage with in-depth knowledge in one or more of these areas.
  • Good knowledge of laws, regulations and standards in HVAC, energy, elevators, fire and electricity.
  • Experience working with energy management and energy optimization of commercial or residential properties.
  • Knowledge of construction law.
  • IT and system skills with practical experience of MS Office, invoice management systems, case management systems and of BMS systems at property level.
  • Knowledge of the working environment and experience of working with initiatives for a safe working environment.
  • Experience in management, control and follow-up of suppliers in technical management and property maintenance.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Driving license class B.

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Practical experience of work and analysis using BMS systems at property portfolio level.
  • Experience in technical management of industrial or process industrial properties.
  • Experience in contract ordering and follow-up.
  • Training and practical experience as a project or assignment manager.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in operational practical work in electricity, plumbing or similar.

You have relevant training and experience in the technical management of properties at such a level that, in addition to managing the operation of our property systems, you can also contribute to their development.

Being able to establish good personal and effective working relationships with our suppliers and colleagues is extremely important for managing properties in such a large geographical area. You must therefore be service-oriented and good at communication.

Location: Älvkarleby, Östhammar, Sundsvall, Umeå, Gothenburg or Trollhättan.

Our nuclear power plant in Forsmark/Ringhals (depending on which region you work in) is part of our larger facilities, you will spend a lot of time there.
