The Mechanical Maintenance unit consists of five groups - three operational and two engineering groups - which together are responsible for mechanical maintenance at all Forsmark's plants.

The current positions as supervisors are located in one of the operational groups that focus on Forsmark 3. The group's mechanical and technical areas of responsibility are components for the reactor and turbine plant and their auxiliary systems such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, diesel engines, tanks and other peripheral equipment.

As a supervisor with us at Forsmark, you will be able to develop both as a leader and in the current technical area. There is the opportunity to lead both larger and smaller groups and the potential to develop towards a role as group manager, or if interested, a specialist or engineering position.

Examples of responsibilities and tasks as a supervisor:

  • Prepare, prepare, plan, allocate and manage the daily work of the team
  • Act as a contact person, support and sounding board to employees and other affected groups during the course of the work
  • Lead hired staff in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and environmentally correct manner
  • Later, when you are confident in the role, emergency duty will also be included.

Requirements

  • You have worked in maintenance in the industry for a few years and your next step in professional life is a role as a supervisor
  • Technical upper secondary education or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Additional education in technology/mechanics/maintenance and leadership can be meritorious
  • Experience in work management (both smaller or larger groups) as well as operational and mechanical maintenance we see as a big plus
  • You speak and write good Swedish, the work also involves contacts that require English
  • Driving license (B).
