Who are we?

The main task of the unit is to implement and quality assure systems and detailed design in connection with plant changes, maintenance and construction and construction work at the nuclear power plant. It also includes assisting the rest of Ringhals with technical support and handling of technical issues.

We are looking for a Group Manager for Construction Fire, Protection and Tele to Ringhals Technology Department.

About the role

We are looking for a Group Manager who will be tasked with establishing and leading a new technical group with a focus on fire, civil electricity and telecommunications. The group will work on design issues related to safety solutions within the facility. This is a role for you who thrives on building structure, creating community and developing sustainable working methods together with others.

You will have an important role in:

  • Form a new team with a focus on collaboration and shared learning
  • Contribute to the development of procedures, processes and ways of working that create safety and clarity
  • Lead and support the technical work of the team with clear direction
  • Collaborate closely with safety functions and other technical areas
  • Contribute to long-term development in fire, civil electrical and telecom and facility changes
  • Be part of the management team of the unit and contribute to strategic development


Requirements specification

Who are you?

We are looking for you to be a present and engaged leader with a technical background. You are used to leading in complex environments where collaboration, structure and trust are essential. You have an inclusive approach, are sensitive to the perspectives of others and have a natural ability to create security and job satisfaction in a group.

You have an interest in security issues and understand the importance of accuracy, responsibility and a long-term approach. You see opportunities in change and have a desire to build something sustainable - both for people and technology.

We would like you to have:

  • Technical education in electricity, automation or equivalent
  • Experience in construction in a safety-critical or regulated environment (eg. nuclear power, process industry, defense)
  • Experience as a manager or leader of technical teams
  • Ability to create structure, build relationships and lead in change
  • Good communication skills and used to interacting with different functions
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
