About the role

Do you want to be involved in leading the development of electrical and automation design? Do you have a technical background and an interest in driving change and developing both people and technology? Then you could be the one we are looking for!

Who are we?

The main task of the unit is to implement and quality assure systems and detailed design in connection with plant changes, maintenance and construction and construction work at the nuclear power plant. It also includes assisting the rest of Ringhals with technical support and handling of technical issues.

We are looking for a Group Manager for Detailed Design Electricity and Automation to Ringhals Technology Department.

About the role

As Group Manager for Detail Design Electrical and Automation, you will have a key role in our technical organization. You will lead a group with high competence in electrical and automation design. You will have the opportunity to grow in your role as a leader in an environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing and respect for each other's skills are at the center.

Your tasks

  • Lead and develop the group in detailed design electricity and automation
  • Ensure deliveries in close collaboration with project managers and other technical areas
  • Have ongoing contact with external suppliers
  • Contribute to developing working methods, processes and tools
  • Be part of the management team for the unit and contribute to strategic development


Requirements specification

Who are you?

We are looking for a confident and committed leader with a technical background - perhaps you have worked as an electrical or automation engineer and taken natural responsibility in the team. You thrive in a role where you get to combine technology with people, and you have a good ability to create structure and drive improvements. You are responsive, collaborative and easy to build relationships - both internally and with external suppliers.

You probably have experience from the process industry or other regulated environment, where high demands on safety, quality and documentation are a natural part of everyday life. You see change as an opportunity and have a desire to develop both working methods and people.

You do not need to have had a formal management role before - the most important thing is that you have an interest in leadership and experience of taking responsibility in technical contexts.

We would like you to have:

  • Technical education in electricity, automation or equivalent
  • Experience in construction in electricity and/or automation
  • Previous experience as a manager or leader of technical teams
  • Ability to create structure, drive change and collaborate across borders
  • Good communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
