Vattenfall Power Solutions is working to create even greater value in our project deliveries to our partners. We are now looking for a Group Manager for our fifth group in the Projects West unit within the Project Department. The group focuses on assignments towards Ringhals and Värö Peninsula. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new team and contribute to the development of Swedish nuclear power. Welcome to a dynamic work environment where your leadership and commitment really makes a difference!

With us, you will be trusted to act with great freedom and responsibility, which, together with good working conditions and mutual trust, provides a high level of flexibility and work-life balance.

Your tasks

As Group Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 15 project managers, coordinators and planners and have full responsibility for delivery, work environment, cost planning and human resources. You report to the Head of Projects West and are part of the unit's management team. In this role, you get close to the whole nuclear issue - everything from building new, to extending the life of existing plants and decommissioning those that have done their time. It's both broad and meaningful.

You will play a key role in:

  • building and shaping a new team
  • ensuring the right skills and resources for our missions
  • contributing to the strategic development of the unit
  • creating a safe, inclusive and high-performing work environment
  • developing and improving collaborations with other group and unit managers and other stakeholders

You will be part of a team that values openness and collaboration and works towards a positive working climate with a good sense of community. You will work with highly competent colleagues both within your own group/unit and in other disciplines. We work actively with competence exchange and network building.

  • previous management experience and confidence in your leadership
  • a businesslike drive and desire to develop both people and business
  • ability to create commitment, build teams and make wise decisions even in uncertainty
  • relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • fluent communication skills in both speech and writing in Swedish and English
  • B-driving license as travel occurs in the role

Additional is:

  • experience from the energy industry, process industry or nuclear operations or consulting

We believe in authentic leadership - where you change style as needed, drive learning and challenge the status quo. With us, you'll help build a Vattenfall mindset that breaks silos and creates the energy solutions of the future.
