Forsmarks Kraftgrupp is looking for you who want to take on a developing role as Group Manager Construction Maintenance Coordination!

As Group Manager, you will be part of the unit's management team and report directly to the Head of Unit. You will represent the group in various forums and projects and will have a wide range of contacts within Forsmark, Ringhals, the Vattenfall Group and with contractors. The management team works closely together in an environment characterized by cooperation, openness and a common striving for continuous improvement.

The group includes supervisors with expertise in technical areas such as construction maintenance, logistics, lifting equipment, plumbing and service (for example, decontamination, painting, storage management, transport, scaffolding and insulation). The team will eventually consist of 8-10 people with different backgrounds, experience and perspectives, where you will have the opportunity to influence future recruitments. The group is also responsible for managing a number of suppliers in different technical areas.

We work primarily with:

• plan and supervise maintenance work at the production site
• represent the unit in a variety of forums as the group has many interfaces internally and with subcontractors
• wide range of operational services, the majority of services are performed by subcontractors
• ensure the right conditions for subcontractors

About the work as Group Manager Construction Maintenance

As Group Manager, you have a key role in both leading people and developing our ways of working. You will be part of a dedicated management team and report to the Head of Construction Maintenance. Together we work in an environment characterized by cooperation, openness and a common desire to constantly improve the business.

In your role, you are responsible for creating good conditions for your group to succeed - both in the daily work and in long-term development. You are a driving force in translating strategies into practical results.

Example of responsibilities:

• Lead and develop employees through coaching, support and clear communication
• Initiate and drive improvement work within the group and together with the management team
• Represent your group in internal and external forums, projects and collaborations within the Vattenfall Group
• Responsible for budget, follow-up of financial results and reporting

The role suits you who thrive on combining operational leadership with strategic work, and who want to contribute to developing the construction maintenance area in a socially important business.

Requirements

• Experience in a leadership role and a genuine interest in people
• Secondary or post-secondary education
• Experience in one of the mentioned technical areas - construction maintenance, logistics, lifting equipment, plumbing and service (for example, sanitation, painting, storage management, transport, scaffolding and insulation)
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
• a broad IT habit as you work in different systems
