Now you have the opportunity to do so with us at Forsmarks Kraftgrupp. Here you are contributing to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply. To achieve our goals, we need committed employees who want to work at one of Sweden's largest electricity producers and at the same time contribute to a better climate on our planet.

About the job

As head of our assembly unit, you will have extensive leadership responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact. We are looking for you who combine confident leadership with curiosity about technology and improvement - and who want to contribute to safe electricity production for the future.

The assembly unit is an important part of our maintenance operations at Forsmark. Here you will lead three group managers and their respective teams:

  • Electrical assembly
  • Mechanical assembly
  • Workshop group (mechanical machining)

In total, the unit comprises around 30 own employees and up to 100 hired contractors and consultants. It is a role with both operational responsibility and strategic influence. You are part of the management team of the maintenance department, where you contribute to joint development and long-term planning.

Your main tasks:

  • Lead and support the three team leaders and create a safe, stimulating working environment
  • Ensure that assembly activities are carried out safely, structured and according to current routines and regulations
  • Plan staffing and skills supply together with colleagues and external actors
  • Contribute to strategic improvement work in the management team
  • Initiate changes that simplify and improve working methods, preferably with the help of new technology and digital tools

Requirements

We would like you to have:

  • Several years of managerial/leadership experience from industry, technology or socially critical activities, preferably with complex projects or contractor collaboration
  • Technical background in, for example, electricity, mechanics or a similar field
  • Experience working with business development, improvement work and collaboration with different professional groups
  • A drive to contribute to sustainable and safe electricity production
  • Interest in new technology, digital solutions and safety culture
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and good knowledge of English

We are looking for a leader who is driven by developing both people and working methods and has the ability to inspire the next level of managers and employees to grow and feel committed. You have the courage and drive to raise issues and lead development. It is important that you have very good communication skills and you know that cooperation is a crucial factor in achieving set goals together. Furthermore, you have a good ability to think strategically and contribute with a long-term perspective. Being persistent and delivering in both the short and long term while maintaining your own and others' motivation is a success factor.
