About the role

Vattenfall Eldistribution operates a socially critical infrastructure that distributes more than half of all electricity produced in Sweden. Our mission is to maintain, operate and, if necessary, expand a safe, reliable and efficient electricity network. Vattenfall Eldistribution has a central role in the powerful electrification that is taking place in society and we are facing a historic opportunity - to accelerate the fossil-free transition through innovation, business acumen and customer focus.

We are now looking for a committed leader with a strong customer focus for the role of Head of the Corporate Customer Relations department, Electric Intensive Industry. In this role, you will lead a team of 8 business engineers, report to the Head of Corporate Customer Relations and be part of the unit's management team. The department has employees at Vattenfall's offices in Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Solna and Luleå. Customers are located throughout Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's network area in Sweden and behind them are both Swedish and foreign players.

The department you are responsible for manages the largest corporate customers that connect to our electricity grid, which includes major industrial players in, among other things, the iron and steel industry, battery production, electro-fuel, pulp and paper, chemistry and large-scale data centers. This requires a high level of professionalism and business acumen in the customer dialogue to ensure trusting and long-term relationships.

Your mission

• Lead and develop the department in line with Vattenfall's leadership principles: LEAD - Lead yourself, Enable people, Align Teams, Drive Performance.
• Responsible for the management and development of our customer offering and be a clear voice in the business dialog with the department's largest industrial customers.
• Support employees in the daily work with customer agreements and customer dialog
• Ensure that the department handles incoming connection requests and meets customers in a way that creates business value and strengthens our position in the market.
• Ensure that we deliver our services and products in a value-creating way and contribute to innovation, automation and streamlining of customer journeys and processes through proactive business intelligence and identification of new digital opportunities.
• Promote collaboration internally and externally, create networks and strengthen our position in the energy transition.
• Be an active member of the Corporate Customer Relations management team.

Requirement specification

• Strong customer focus and high business acumen with the ability to establish and develop long-term business relationships that create value for both customer and company.
• Ability to represent and communicate in a way that creates trust.
• Experience in B2B sales and/or business development as well as experience in contract writing and contract law.
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Experience in working with infrastructure, preferably electricity grids, is a merit.
• Relevant academic degree.
• Express yourself fluently in Swedish and English.

Location at one of Vattenfall Elddistribution's offices in Solna, Västerås, Uppsala, Luleå, Umeå, Trollhättan or Gothenburg. Travel is included in the service.
