About the role

Vattenfall Eldistribution operates a socially critical infrastructure that distributes more than half of all electricity produced in Sweden. Our mission is to maintain, operate and, if necessary, expand a safe, reliable and efficient electricity network. Vattenfall Eldistribution has a central role in the powerful electrification that is taking place in society and we are facing a historic opportunity - to accelerate the fossil-free transition through innovation, business acumen and customer focus.

We are now looking for a committed leader with a strong customer focus for the role of Head of the Customer Relations Department Corporate Medium & Support. In this role, you will lead a team of 10 employees, report to the Head of Corporate Customer Relations and be part of the unit's management team. The department has employees at Vattenfall's offices in Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Solna and Umeå. Customers are located throughout Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's network area in Sweden.

With us, you will have a key role where you can contribute to making a real difference for both society and the energy transition. The department you are responsible for manages the larger business customers who connect to Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's local network. Typical examples of customers are large real estate companies, manufacturing industries, players in the transport sector, government agencies and utilities, and electricity producers. Within the department there are also some support functions as well as process and business development that support the entire unit.

Your mission

  • Lead and develop the department in line with Vattenfall's leadership principles: LEAD - Lead yourself, Enable people, Align Teams, Drive Performance.
  • Support employees in the day-to-day work with customer contracts and customer dialog
  • Ensure that the department handles incoming connection requests and meets customers in a way that creates business value and strengthens our position in the market.
  • Ensure that the invoicing for which the department is responsible is carried out according to deadlines.
  • Ensure that we deliver our services and products in a value-creating way and contribute to innovation, automation and streamlining of customer journeys and processes through proactive business intelligence and identification of new digital opportunities.
  • Be an active member of the Corporate Customer Relations management team.

Requirement specification

  • Strong customer focus and high business acumen with the ability to establish and develop long-term business relationships that create value for both customer and company.
  • Experience in B2B sales and/or business development as well as experience in contract writing and contract law.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams
  • Relevant academic degree.
  • Experience of working with infrastructure, preferably electricity networks, is a merit.
  • Express yourself fluently in Swedish and English.
