Job description

We at Vattenfall Eldistribution are growing and we now need a manager for our Contract Management department. The expectations of managing our agreements and ensuring that we receive the delivery we agreed on are constantly increasing and are an important part of us being able to deliver to our customers. As we invest more, we need to become more and find more efficient ways to do this.

The Contract Management department is responsible for compiling requirements and needs from the entire company to ensure appropriate contracts. We ensure strategic and tactical management and uniform management of our supplier agreements. The department performs comprehensive analyses, development and follow-up to ensure compliance with agreements, creates opportunities, trains, digitizes and supports the business to become an even better professional client.

We are also responsible for keeping an eye on the supplier market to ensure that we shop right and get the delivery we want in collaboration with project implementation and purchasing. We are responsible for keeping current contractual documents available internally and externally. We are responsible for keeping an up-to-date contract register. Today we are about 20 people in the department, who are located in our offices in Solna, Luleå and Trollhättan.

As head of department, you will inspire and engage our employees within your assignment responsibility and ensure that set goals are reached. In your assignment, you and your colleagues will create the conditions for our success by working towards common company and unit goals. The position suits you who see all employees and are happy to handle challenges at the intersection between technology, customer and society.

Examples of tasks

  • Lead the department and is the immediate manager of 20-25 employees
  • Ensure that the processes and routines we have for how we procure and manage supplier agreements are followed
  • Leads and runs the department and develops the employees and, together with the process department, develops the working methods
  • Responsible for maintaining dialogue with other operations so that we can contribute to them within our area of ​​responsibility, as well as having dialogue with and monitoring our supplier market
  • You are good at building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensure effective resource utilization and collaboration both within and outside the department.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic degree or equivalent experience through work with similar issues in the energy industry or the contracting industry. If you have previous experience of leading similar operations either on the customer side or on the contractor side, it is advantageous. You need to have leadership experience from previous managerial positions.

You are driven by developing both people and working methods and have the ability to inspire and make your employees grow and feel engaged in the change work together with colleagues within the company. For this position, you need to be solution-oriented and creative as well as proactive.

You will have many contacts with both internal and external parties, which is why the ability and willingness to collaborate, influence and contribute to the development of the business is important. Furthermore, you have a communicative ability both in terms of written and oral presentation and feel comfortable in taking questions from our partners. In order to reach your decisions and business challenges, you have the ability to create presentations and reports in both Swedish and English.
