We are looking for a driven and committed leader who wants to take on the exciting assignment as Head of Department for Network Analysis Local Network North-South within Asset Optimization at Vattenfall Eldistribution.

Network Analysis Local Network North-South is, together with the sister department for the area Between, the heart of the development of Vattenfall's future local network. You and your team drive the development of the local network in the North and South regions, which is crucial for Sweden's electrification and fossil-free future. The group takes a long-term strategic approach to network development plans, develops system engineering solutions to enable larger customer connections and works with business development to meet changing external requirements and the increasingly complex energy landscape.

As Head of Department, you work closely with colleagues in Network Optimization and other departments, as well as external contacts. You are responsible for the department's activities and goal achievement, leading through your employees and contributing to the unit's development and goals. You create the conditions for your colleagues to develop and succeed in their roles, build strong teams and drive change. Your ability to develop teams and personal leadership is of great importance, as are your communication skills. We believe you are driven to develop both people and business, inspire and engage your people, and strategically assess needs and prioritize efforts for the best results.

Requirement specification

We are looking for you who have at least three years of experience as a leader in electrical plants, industry or infrastructure, and who have worked with process-heavy operations and plant investments. You have experience in digitizing workflows, which means you have driven projects to introduce digital tools and processes that streamline and improve workflows. You also have experience of implementing challenging changes in the business, where you have led and implemented extensive change projects that required strategic planning and strong leadership skills.

• Relevant technical academic education with advantage in electrical power
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• B driving license
