Network Analysis Regionnät Norr - Mellan is together with the sister department for area South the heart of the development of Vattenfall's future Regional Network. Together with your colleagues, you drive the development of Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's Regional Network in the North and Central regions so that it lives up to the world's expectations regarding the electrification of Sweden, where 90% of the transition takes place in Vattenfall's network. You thus have a major impact on the conditions for Sweden to become fossil-free. The department manages and develops the dimensioning and design of the regional network with both new and existing customers' needs in focus to enable the development of society. Based on capacity, availability and network structural deficiencies, the department is responsible for identifying, evaluating and deciding on prioritized deviations/needs and developing measures that ensure a robust and efficient electricity system in the short and long term. The department also contributes to carrying out magnetic field calculations and dimensioning in the preliminary study phase. Operational management of the company's calculation system PSS/E is also part of the responsibility. The department sets requirements for system design through management/ownership of the Regional Network Planning Manual. There are interfaces with several other departments. The department participates in work on system issues such as FLEX and Public Network Development Plans coordinated within the Asset Optimization unit.

As Head of Department for Network Analysis Regionnät Norr-Mellan, you will have a key role in shaping and developing our business. You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with colleagues across the organization - particularly with Network Analysis Network South, Asset Management, Customer and Marketing and Project Operations. You also have external contacts, which makes the role both dynamic and community-oriented.

In your role, you are responsible for the department's results, development and goal achievement. You are an active part of the Network Optimization management team and contribute to strategic decisions that drive the business forward. Through an inclusive and trusting leadership, you create the conditions for your employees to succeed and grow - both as individuals and as a team.

As Head of Network Analysis Regional Networks, you will report to the Head of Network Optimization and participate together with the other four department heads in the unit's management team.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have at least five years of experience as a leader in network operations or other infrastructure-intensive industry. You have a proven ability to lead through others and to create results together with your team. You have experience of driving change and developing both business and individuals, and you have a communicative and responsive leadership style that inspires and engages. Your strategic skills enable you to evaluate needs, prioritize the right actions and make informed decisions. You are motivated by seeing people grow and thrive in an environment where you can combine operational leadership with long-term development. You are confident in your role, have a genuine interest in people and see the value of building an inclusive culture where everyone has the opportunity to contribute.

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience of working in process-heavy operations related to plant investments
• Experience of representing externally and speaking for the company at panel discussions, customer meetings, etc.
• Experience of having implemented a challenging change in the business
• Relevant technical academic education with advantage in electrical power

Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing is a requirement, as well as a B-driving license.
