About the role

We need more energy heroes and now we are looking for a Head of Department who wants to join the journey towards a fossil-free life! Is this you? Together we make a difference, for the whole society.
In the role of Head of Department, you will be responsible for a department consisting of 29 employees. The department consists of technicians, preparers and project managers. The staff are located in Vilhelmina, Storuman and Sorsele but operate over a larger geography in the immediate area. In addition to your own department, you are also part of the management team for the Wiring North business area. Together we work to contribute to the continued growth and development of the entire business area.
As Head of Department, you have overall responsibility for the department's part in one of the business area's major service agreements for an electricity network. The responsibility includes contract knowledge and thus a delivery and performance responsibility. You will sit with the electricity network owner and conduct dialogues linked to the operational activities. The department works mainly with fault rectification, maintenance and projects. You are a daily support to your employees in both personnel matters but also in the daily activities regarding technical and operational issues.
As a department manager, you also work on the development of the department's employees and operations in a business environment where safety is the top priority. The work is varied and you are expected to have close contact with customers, colleagues and staff.
