About the role

Vattenfall Eldistribution is at the center of the green transition and electrification of Sweden. As our facilities are expanded and renewed, we also need to keep up with the documentation and management of records, archives and management systems. Like the rest of society, we also need to dare to challenge current working methods and seek possible efficiency improvements.

We are now looking for a structured and engaging leader who wants to take on the challenging role of Head of Registry within the Asset Data unit.

The Registry has the operational responsibility to ensure quality and compliance in the handling, registration and storage of public documents. The team also handles some access control, planning and coordination of internal training in documentation systems, and maintains the archive plan and management system.

The Registry is part of the Asset Data unit which, together with four other departments, manages public documents, technical facility documentation and quality analysis. The team consists of seven employees located in our office in Solna.

As a manager, you create commitment and lead employees to achieve set goals. You also contribute to the development of the business, including through business intelligence and communication with all relevant parts of the organization. The post is suitable for people who see all employees, who like to create structure and develop activities and who like to deal with new challenges that arise at the intersection of technology, process and society.

Example of duties

  • You will manage the day-to-day work of registering public documents and maintaining the archive plan.
  • You assist in the mission to support the organization with specialist knowledge and quality improvement measures related to documentation and record keeping.
  • You build networks mainly within the organization where you both collect information on the documentation needs of different units, identify synergies and communicate the team's important mission to ensure high compliance.
  • Your mission will be to ensure effective resource utilization and collaboration both within and outside the unit
  • You will report to the unit manager and be part of the Asset Data management team, thereby also contributing to the unit's development and strategic work.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have

  • previous experience as a manager, or other management experience where you have actively worked with the development of people and operations,
  • ability to maintain and develop structures in a complex environment with various interfaces and interactions,
  • experience in archives, registry or document management, preferably in the energy industry
  • interest and experience in digitization and automation, and
  • relevant academic education.
  • Previous experience with SAP DMS is meritorious.
