About the role

We are building opportunities for a fossil-free future

SKB is now underway with three major construction projects to finalize the Swedish nuclear waste. This is largely pioneering work and involves many complex challenges that enable fossil-free electricity production in Sweden's nuclear power plants.

  • Support to the line: Provide support to the CEO and the organization on physical protection and security issues and actively manage incidents in these areas.
  • Authority contact and collaboration: Act as a contact person towards relevant authorities and actively participate in collaboration groups both within and outside the Vattenfall Group.
  • Personnel security: Manage and follow up on personnel matters with a focus on security protection.
  • Requirements management: Be responsible for managing requirements from authorities and the Vattenfall Group.
  • Personnel, competence and budget responsibility for the unit.
  • Report to SKB's CEO and participate in management team issues in physical protection and security protection.

  • have experience from management positions, preferably from industry or government agencies with high protection values. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from nuclear activities.

We are looking for you who have strong communication skills, which will help you reach different audiences and build trust in an environment where security is our top priority. You are solution-oriented and structured, with the ability to see the big picture and work as a team player through and through. You inspire and motivate through an unpretentious and coaching approach, and you have the ability to make wise decisions even in pressured situations.
