Job description


We are now looking for a driven HV Manager for Vattenfall Vindkraft Operation Sweden with the task of supporting the operating organization at our existing and future wind farms in operating and maintaining our electrical facilities in a safe and controlled manner. You will report to and support the Head of Onshore Operations Sweden in matters related to electrical safety.

As HV Manager you will:

  • Ensure that operation and maintenance of the high-voltage facilities is carried out in a safe and controlled manner by applying and developing processes and routines for Vattenfall's onshore wind farms in Sweden, regardless of whether the work is carried out by internal staff or contractors
  • Coordinate/supervise high voltage related tasks delegated to other functions in the organization
  • Act as an expert in the area of ​​electrical safety and actively support the organization in electrical safety issues and current legislation, as well as have a monitoring function in the area of ​​electrical safety
  • Together with operating staff at the wind farms, manage contractors, coordinate required work, manage interfaces with grid companies, etc.
  • Develop and renew governing documents in electrical safety management systems, manage and lead incident investigations, and develop and hold training courses in electrical safety
  • Be a representative in industry networks, external and internal forums and establish good collaborations with entrepreneurs, authorities and colleagues in the industry
  • Represent the operating organization in the development of new wind power projects
  • Be helpful and expert in technical electrical matters

There may be trips with overnight stays in the service.



Requirements specification


We are looking for you as

  • Has work experience in electrical engineering in the relevant industry as well as installation knowledge of electricity production facilities
  • Has training with a focus on electric power or electricity production, combined with deep competence in the area of ​​electrical safety
  • Has experience of working in some form of management system with a focus on electrical safety with high demands on health and safety
  • Authorization in electricity is meritorious
  • Experience in troubleshooting and analysis as well as technical knowledge of wind farm layouts are meritorious.
  • Expresses yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English
  • B driver's license


A high level of safety thinking, a proactive way of working and good collaboration skills are abilities that we value highly.
