About the role

Do you want to work as an Inspection Technician with us at VB Elnät and contribute to fossil freedom?

Investing, expanding and maintaining the electricity network is part of our everyday life. The electricity grid is monitored around the clock via our operations center in Ludvika. We are also responsible for measuring how much electricity our customers use. Within Västerbergslagens Elnät, we are currently 28 employees who together accelerate our digital transformation, test and implement new technology that contributes to increased delivery reliability and delivery quality for our customers. We are in a growth phase with major investment plans and to meet our customers' needs and contribute to the energy transition, we are now looking for an Inspection Technician.Do you want to be part of our journey?

Your responsibilities

As an Inspection Technician with us, you will, among other things, work practically with rounding and documenting our stations. You will:

• Collect and document what is discovered during station rounds
• Conduct maintenance inspections from 0.4-130 kV
• Review and update existing documentation in our electrical installations
• Manage and document the measurement of cables and fibers
• Interact with colleagues, customers and other actors
• Contribute to developing and improving routines within your own area of responsibility.

Requirement specification

• Post-secondary education with a technical focus or equivalent work experience that is considered equivalent
• Experience of similar work as a station technician, alternatively as an electrical installer, electrical installation electrician or similar
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing is required
• Good computer skills
• Experience from the electric power industry is meritorious.
