KSU, Kärnkraftsäkerhet och Utbildning AB, ensures the competence of the Swedish nuclear power plants' personnel through both theoretical education and practical training in full-scale simulators. The company is in a development phase and we see an exciting future to ensure competence for long-term and new nuclear power operations.

Operations are conducted from our head office in Nyköping and from our training facilities located close to the nuclear power plants in Forsmark, Oskarshamn and Ringhals. KSU, with approximately 180 employees, is co-owned by Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, OKG AB, Ringhals AB and is part of the Vattenfall Group, Business Unit Vattenfall Power Solutions, VPS.

About the role


Our vision is for KSU to be a world leader in nuclear power education. We achieve this by constantly developing technology, pedagogy and instructor competence.

Nuclear power is currently receiving a lot of attention, which leads to an interesting and exciting development in which KSU is very much involved. KSU works actively with business intelligence and is also involved in international business. The work tasks mainly consist of developing and conducting theoretical and practical training as well as recurring training for operating staff. We also carry out and develop training for other categories in the nuclear industry. As an instructor, you supervise and coach our course participants both in the teaching session and in their everyday lives.



Requirements


As an instructor, you have great responsibility for your training while working closely with your colleagues. The team is composed of different competencies in order to create creative diversity.

  • Have technical experience from BWR plant or broad competence in the nuclear power industry
  • Are used to working with digital tools and have good computer skills
  • Are fluent in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English
  • Are an inspiring team player with a passion for development and pedagogy
