About the role

The main responsibility of the Maintenance department is to conduct efficient plant maintenance with safety and availability in focus. The goal is to ensure ongoing maintenance with minimum impact on production through strategic planning, execution and budget control. The team is diverse and consists of employees with different levels of experience - from field technicians to planners and supervisors.


For the maintenance department, we are now looking for an instrument technician.

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and emergency maintenance and instrument audits. You will contribute to the team's goals by ensuring that instruments and control systems function optimally and safely. The role also involves acting as a requirements developer and technical support in various projects. You will work closely with the operations organization, maintenance and plant managers and external suppliers.

Your duties include:

  • Plan and perform corrective and preventive instrument maintenance
  • Participate in planning and performing instrument audits during maintenance shutdowns
  • Report needs for major maintenance actions or modifications to the instrument engineer
  • Participate in projects and request updates of maintenance plans in the maintenance system
  • Continuously analyze performed maintenance actions and update maintenance plans

Requirement specification

We are looking for you who have:

  • Experience in instrumentation engineering in an industrial environment
  • Technical education with an electrical focus at secondary level.
  • Good system experience, especially in maintenance systems and purchasing systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Basic knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to speak and write Swedish and English without difficulty

Experience in:

  • Post-secondary education in relevant field
  • Audits and calibration
  • Project work in a technical environment
