IT at Vattenfall Services - the team that enables the energy transition

With us at Vattenfall Services IT department, you will be part of a competent, committed and solution-oriented team where collaboration and innovation are at the center. We are a group of 11 people who together ensure that the business has stable, secure and future-proof IT solutions.

We are in an exciting phase where we both manage and further develop our IT environment. A large part of our services are delivered through Vattenfall's central IT organization, which means that we work closely with other parts of the Group to optimize and streamline deliveries. At the same time, we run our own initiatives and have some IT solutions that we manage internally or in collaboration with external suppliers. This means that we alternate daily between being strategic guides, technical problem solvers and operational pillars for the entire business.

Your tasks

As an experienced IT generalist, you get a varied and dynamic role where you play a central part in developing and strengthening our IT environment. You will drive smaller IT projects from start to finish, ensuring that our solutions are not only technically robust but also meet high standards of security and compliance, including GDPR and information security.

In your role, you will:

• Drive and coordinate smaller IT initiatives - ensuring that our IT projects and assignments are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with IT suppliers - play a key role in coordinating and following up on deliveries to optimize our IT services.
• Strengthen IT security and compliance - work proactively on information security and GDPR to ensure that our systems and processes comply with current legal requirements and best practices.
• Solve problems and develop processes - identify areas for improvement, take own initiatives and contribute to the development of our IT environment.
• Drive the development of our IT infrastructure - identify new technological opportunities, explore modern solutions and proactively propose improvements to ensure a stable, secure and efficient IT environment.

Requirements

Qualifications - Are you the one we are looking for?

• Relevant education or work experience - You have an academic degree in IT, systems science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in running IT initiatives - You have previously led IT projects or initiatives and feel confident in taking responsibility from start to finish
• Experience in IT and information security - You have a good understanding of IT infrastructure and security aspects, which will allow you to contribute to protecting and optimizing our systems.
• Driving license B
• Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
