The automation area is growing rapidly and Vattenfall Eldistribution is installing more and more digital equipment/automation in the electricity network. In addition to reinvestment needs of obsolete equipment, there are strong drivers through increased demands for fewer and shorter power outages and enablers for further digitization. The OT & Automation group is responsible for the operation and management of automation equipment, such as RTUs, HMIs, switches and industrial computers, throughout its lifecycle and actively works as a technical requirement setter in the plant investment projects.

To meet the future, we are now looking

for a driven and solution-oriented employee who wants to work with installation, monitoring, analysis and development of central systems and security solutions in Vattenfall's OT environment.

As an OT/IT System Specialist in the OT & Automation group, you work in the borderland between IT and OT. This means working with central systems and security-related functions as well as working with automation equipment in our OT environment.

Examples of tasks:

• Work operationally with monitoring and incident management in our OT systems.
• Develop and implement solutions for secure OT operations.
• Integrated services focusing on the management of Vattenfall Eldistributions concept Service-PC including monitoring, provisioning/deployment, backup, plant register/storage management, troubleshooting, support, shipping of equipment etc
• Support for investment projects regarding IT and automation equipment
• Management and life cycle management of IT and automation equipment
• Requirements and review of technical solutions in procurement against material suppliers
• Collaborate with development departments both internally and externally to develop new technical solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education, preferably at university engineering level with a focus on computer engineering, or acquired equivalent knowledge through experience
• Experience working with OT/ICS environments (e.g. SCADA, DCS).
• Knowledge of network monitoring, log management and security analysis.
• Understanding of industrial protocols (e.g. IEC104, Modbus).
• Experience with Windows-based systems and client management.
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on with technical solutions.
• Understand Swedish and English fluently both in speech and writing
• Have a B-driving license

As a person, we believe that you have a great curiosity for technical solutions in IT and OT, are service-oriented and have a sense of structure and order. As the contact network in the role is wide, both internally and externally, good collaboration skills and structure are required. Furthermore, we believe that you are unpretentious and responsible in your own work. A requirement is that you should have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

It is meritorious if you

• Have knowledge and experience in IT / OT security
• Have basic knowledge of electricity, electrical power systems, process automation, IEC 61850, IP-based communication solutions or project management
